Building Vietnam's Silicon Beach
The newly expanded facilities in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park (DHTP) specialize in advanced integrated circuit (IC) packaging, power management semiconductor validation, and AI accelerator chip prototyping.
"Da Nang offers world-class coastal living paired with premier engineering universities and competitive clean energy, creating an unbeatable magnet for global semiconductor talent," remarked industry delegates at the Semiconductor Summit.
Key Strategic Drivers
- Workforce Pipeline: Da Nang University and FPT University graduate over 4,500 specialized microelectronics engineers each year.
- Tax & Duty Incentives: Zero corporate income tax for the first four years, followed by 50% reductions for the subsequent nine years.
- Green Power Supply: Dedicated high-voltage solar and offshore wind feeds to guarantee uninterrupted clean fabrication operations.
With Intel in Saigon, Amkor and Hana Micron in Bac Ninh, and now Da Nang rising rapidly, Vietnam has secured its standing as an indispensable node in the global chip supply chain.
