Located in Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province, Ban Gioc Waterfall is the fourth-largest border waterfall in the world and undoubtedly the most majestic waterfall in Southeast Asia.

A 300-Meter Symphony of Roaring Water

Fed by the clear waters of the Quay Son River, Ban Gioc plunges 30 meters across three limestone terraces, surrounded by verdant bamboo groves and dramatic karst pillars.

"The sheer scale and emerald color of Ban Gioc takes your breath away. In autumn, the surrounding rice fields turn bright gold, creating a landscape straight out of an ancient painting," says drone pilot Hoang Duc.

Drone Cinematography Notes

  • Aerial Perspective: Low-altitude swoops over the main 3-tier cascade and mist-shrouded turquoise river pools.
  • Nearby Attractions: Nguom Ngao Tiger Cave and Truc Lam Ban Gioc Zen Monastery perched on Phia Nham mountain.
  • Best Season: Autumn (September–November) when water volume is optimal and clarity is crystal clear.
