[Video] Scuba Diving the Cham Islands: Coral Reefs & Marine Conservation in Central Vietnam

Located just 15 kilometers off the coast of Hoi An, the Cham Islands (Cu Lao Cham) comprise eight granite islands surrounded by one of Vietnam's most pristine marine protected areas.

An Underwater Garden of 300 Coral Species

Our marine cinematography team spent three weeks documenting the underwater ecosystems of Hon Dai, Hon Mo, and Bai Bac, where strict environmental bans on single-use plastics have allowed marine life and hard corals to thrive.

"The visibility during summer months exceeds 25 meters, revealing kaleidoscope coral gardens, clownfish colonies, and moray eels," reports PADI divemaster Le Tuan.
